May, 2007 - The South Shore Camera Club in Quincy, MA held its Image of the Year Competition on May 8th, 2007.

Michelle Fontaine of Millbury, MA, Laura Sinclair, of Hingham ,MA, and Cindy Vallino, of Marshfield, MA  formed a panel of three judges for the evening. More info here.

 


April, 2007  - Woonsocket RI - The Museum of Work and Culture features Exhibit of M Fontaine Photography.

The Woonsocket Museum of Work and Culture announces an exhibit of fine art photographic pieces by Blackstone Valley photographer and life-long resident, Michelle Fontaine. The exhibit will include many pieces of Rhode Island landmarks including her well-known waterfall shot entitled Dam Reflection, Railcar Building and Triad Bridge Fishermen.


Other award-winning pieces that will be exhibited include City Architecture, Wet Boardwalk, Mirror Lake, Quiet Island, Bullfrog, Blazing Water, Surreal Willow and Meagan's Dragonfly, to name a few.

You don't need previous multimedia experience to create amazing shows! M Fontaine Productions is offering 'Create a Digital Slideshow' beginning April 18 at the Blackstone Valley Business Center .

February, 2007 M Fontaine Productions announces two new courses, one to showcase images and one to take better images. Creating a Digital Slideshow and From 'Point and Shoot' to 'Plan your Shot'.

The two new courses are both 3 classes, one given on Wednesday evenings and one on Saturday afternoons. Also offered will be a repeat of the successful course, Create a Photographic Website. All three courses will be conducted in Whitinsville, MA at the Blackstone Valley Business Center in March, 2007.

December, 2006 M Fontaine Productions announces a 5-week website development course. The course is geared to what is important to photographers, showcasing their images, but anyone who wants to learn basic website design will benefit. Courses will be conducted at the Blackstone Valley Business Center in Whitinsville, MA,  beginning Thursday, February 1, 2007. Classes are limited to 5 students.

December, 2006  -  M Fontaine's 'Creating a Photographic Website'  has been chosen as a program offering at the 2007 New England Camera Club Conference.

NECCC is a non-profit camera club council with 80 member camera clubs in New England (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine).  Read more here.


November, 2006 - The Sargent-Memorial library, located in Boxborough MA, features solo artist, Michelle Fontaine, during the months of November and December, 2006. Read more here.

July, 2006 - Welcoming the validation of her artistic abilities, M Fontaine received significant awards at the New England Camera Club's 61st Conference held July 14-16 at U Mass Amherst.

NECCC, a non-profit camera club council with 80 member camera clubs in New England,  sponsors one of the largest photography conferences in the U.S.  Over 1,100 photographers from the U.S. and other countries attended the 2006 conference.


April, 2006  -  Yankee Photographic Society and Greater Lynn International Salon yield important honors for Michelle Fontaine's photographic submissions.


March 2006 - Worcester Telegram features article on Seven Hills Camera Club's 60th Anniversary. Michelle Fontaine's Dam Reflection and Wet Boardwalk are among examples of the Club's Photography Exhibit.
