May 3, 2008 - Although the weather was less than
perfect, moving from drizzle to threatening rain, the 2008
Blackstone Valley Fishing Derby offered up another terrific family
event! I saw many familiar faces from last year. The air was
peaceful as smiling children, friends, parents and grandparents
surrounded the pond. Every once in a while the air exploded with
excitement, as one of the stocked trout, or one of the native fish, succumbed to the tasteful
treat on someone's reel! Kudos to the organizers at
www.bvfishingderby.org !
