Some of the Special Effects covered in this course

Put a digital slideshow together that tells a story. This course uses Pro Show Gold, the favorite show creator program among photographers. The consumer version of this program is priced at $69. Well worth it! Turn your photo albums into electronic slideshows that can be watched on your TV, posted on a website, emailed to a friend, shared with loved ones.

This one-day workshop is a combination of presentation and demonstration and then walking through hands-on exercises using images supplied. Students must have a pc laptop, loaded with either ProShowGold version 3.0, priced at $69. or the free trial version of the same software.

Example Project Shows

Our course evolved out of a popular program given at camera clubs across New England. Now it is being offered to you as a 4 week class. Once you master the program, you'll find so many ways to use it. For example, here are a just a few personal reasons I have put shows together:

1. A Gift of Heritage - taking all our family albums, I created a show of all six of our children from baby to adulthood. This was shown after our Christmas dinner with all of our family watching. Then everyone received their own copy which contained the images and the show, thereby giving them an archive of their heritage.

2. In Memoriam - when a beloved family member passed away, I created a show based on her life set to tasteful music. This was shown at the wake and provided all who paid their last respects a chance to remember her full happy life and special moments. You can view that show on my show page.

3. Family Grand Canyon hike - a very special hiking expedition with 9 family members into the Grand Canyon has been captured in a special show. You can see that show on our show page.
